General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Website Presentation
The site My ID Pet Tags (www.myidpettags.com) is published by the company INTER COMPANIONS, SAS with a capital of €100.00 (registration 939 983 474 R.C.S. Créteil), whose registered office is located at 36, avenue Rene Damous – 94500 Champigny Sur Marne, hereinafter referred to as “INTER COMPANIONS“.
My ID Pet Tags offers products and accessories for pets on its website.
The site is hosted by IONOS SARL, located at 7, place de la Gare, BP 70109, 57200 Sarreguemines Cedex (phone: 0970 808 911, email: info@IONOS.fr).
2. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all sales made on the My ID Pet Tags website. By placing an order on the site, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC without reservation.
3. Products and Services
My ID Pet Tags offers personalized tags as well as other pet accessories for sale. The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, errors or omissions may occur and cannot engage the responsibility of INTER COMPANIONS.
Product photographs are not contractual. They are provided for informational purposes only and may vary depending on the user’s screen display.
4. Prices
Product prices are displayed in the currency of the market or domain used by the customer. On the United States version of My ID Pet Tags, prices are displayed in US dollars (USD), excluding delivery charges and any taxes or fees shown during checkout where applicable. INTER COMPANIONS reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
Delivery charges are indicated during the order process and are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated.
5. Order
Any order placed on the My ID Pet Tags website constitutes acceptance of the prices and product descriptions. To place an order, the customer must follow the online process and confirm the order after verifying the details of the items.
INTER COMPANIONS reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment of a previous order.
6. Payment
Payment for purchases is made by credit card or any other payment method available on the site. Payment is secured via the Stripe and Paypal payment platforms. The order will be considered confirmed once full payment has been made.
In case of non-payment or any issue related to the transaction, INTER COMPANIONS reserves the right to cancel the order.
7. Delivery
Products are delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer at the time of order. INTER COMPANIONS commits to respecting the announced delivery times but cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or circumstances beyond its control.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and product availability.
8. Warranty and Compliance
In accordance with the provisions of Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the Consumer Code, the products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the legal warranty against hidden defects.
If a delivered product is defective or non-compliant, the customer has a period of two years from the date of delivery to request repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is impossible, INTER COMPANIONS will offer a refund of the product.
9. Right of Withdrawal and Personalized Products
For non-personalized products, the customer may request a return within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery, without having to justify the decision.
The return request must be communicated before the end of this period, using the printable return form or any other clear statement indicating the customer’s wish to withdraw. Returning the product without prior notice is not sufficient to exercise this right.
Non-personalized products must be returned new, unused, complete and, where possible, in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except where the product is defective, incorrectly prepared or non-compliant due to INTER COMPANIONS.
Exception for engraved or personalized products: under applicable French/EU consumer rules, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized. Engraved tags or products customized at the customer’s request cannot be returned or refunded because of a change of mind, unless they are defective, incorrectly made or non-compliant.
10. Returns, Return Form and Refunds
Before returning any product, the customer should contact customer service and attach the completed printable return form. This form helps identify the order and the reason for return; it is not a prepaid shipping label.
For non-personalized products eligible for return, the refund is issued after receipt of the returned product or proof of shipment, in accordance with applicable rules. Refunds are made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
If a product is defective, damaged, incorrectly made or non-compliant, the customer should contact customer service with the order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs. After review, INTER COMPANIONS will offer an appropriate solution: replacement, remake or refund.
Standard exchanges are not offered. When a product needs to be replaced because of a defect, error or non-compliance, it is handled as an after-sales service case.
Red Dingo tags benefit from a lifetime warranty against corrosion, rust or other time-related degradation under normal use.
11. Liability
INTER COMPANIONS cannot be held liable for damages resulting from improper use of products purchased on the My ID Pet Tags site.
Similarly, INTER COMPANIONS shall not be held responsible for any indirect damages (loss of business, loss of profit, etc.) that may arise from the purchase of products.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. In case of dispute, the customer is invited to contact customer service to seek an amicable solution.
Failing an amicable agreement, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or litigation arising from the application of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
13. Intellectual Property
All elements of the My ID Pet Tags site, whether visual or audio, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks, or patents. They are the exclusive property of INTER COMPANIONS.
Any reproduction or use, in whole or in part, of the site elements without the express authorization of INTER COMPANIONS is strictly prohibited.
14. Changes to the Terms and Conditions of Sale
INTER COMPANIONS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The Terms and Conditions applicable to an order are those in effect on the date the order is confirmed.
